LAST CHANCE

Television Series: Dramatic Episodic / Modern Day

Synopsis

Which Is More Important, Your Past Or Your Future… Decide

Intensity and emotions run high in the daily lives of the troubled youth living at the Last Chance Care Facility in California. This inspirational and edgy dramatic episodic takes place in a RCL-12 (high level, non-lock up) therapeutic treatment program. Severely emotionally disturbed and at-risk adolescent males find a way to overcome (or escape from) their past at Last Chance… but not all of its residents are happy to be there or want to change. True to their “nature” some will plot the unthinkable and the staff must be prepared for anything.

Kepp Spencer, Facility Manager, is not new to the “system” or the antics of those finding themselves detained there. With an extremely versatile staff of counselors, a devoted therapist, and the support of Child Protective Services, what could possibly go wrong? Kepp finds himself smack-dab in the middle of a train wreck with a purpose but has the shoulders to bear up under it. No child is a “victim” on his watch and his goal is to help the many but will settle for saving the one.

Enter 16 year-old, Devin Anderson pulled from his home and everything he knows, suddenly dropped into the judicial system. After a fatal night of fun with friends and a long history of family problems, the judge deems Devin a ward of the court. Bewildered and distraught, Devin begins his new life under the watchful eye of Kepp in his new home, Last Chance.

The creators (Steven & Anthony), have over 25 years of hands on experience in this very system and have worked painstakingly to provide real answers and HOPE to impossible, hopelessly tragic situations. Last Chance challenges the definition of “American Youth” and the system established to handle them when the family archetype fails.
