The Jungle Prince
Synopsis
If The Jungle Doesn’t Get Him The Girl Will
This exciting and endearing, “Castaway” meets “Tarzan”, family adventure centers on Elias, a 10–year-old good-natured, nature-loving son of a Sultan. In the capitol city of Kuala Lumpur [Malaysia] the young prince lives the life of the privileged and elite. Life is perfect, until Elias becomes the pawn in an insidious, well orchestrated kidnapping that transforms his life forever. The terrorists leave him for dead on a remote tropical island where he struggles to survive in this new harsh environment. La Isala Linda is the kind of place where you either learn to adapt quickly or you die in the jungle alone. With his sharp mind and will to survive Elias outwits nature and the drug lord’s goons who frequent the Island.
Flash forward current day. At age 18, Elias has grown into a lean and fearless young adult. Elias spends his carefree days in an amazing treetop house along with the jungle animals he has grown to love. Although he has adapted well… he is still very much alone. Then, as fate would have it, a tropical storm causes his serene and peaceful life to become incredibly complicated, when a plane carrying a Modern-Day Princess crashes to the jungle floor. Elias comes to the rescue of 18-year-old Courtney Amherst, and her 17-year-old brother, Trever. Elias and Trever become instant friends but Courtney has her own way of getting things done.
The clash between Courtney’s pretentious nature and Elias’ carefree adventurous spirit creates immediate conflict, rooted deep within their personalities. In short, “boy meets girl”. Elias finds that surviving the jungle was the easy part! It isn’t until they learn to see each other for who they really are that a secret linking their past is revealed and their feelings for each other start to grow… but danger lurks in the jungle. When the thugs discover Elias to be alive a fight to the finish ensues with their hope for escape lying in the balance.
